Ex-Liverpool youth Ajdarevic excited about Charlton loan

Charlton Athletic loanee Astrit Ajdarevic admits he is looking forward to playing some regular first team football in England.

The 23-year old Swedish midfielder joined the Championship club from Standard Liege on loan last week and is positive about his spell in southeast London.

"It feels nice to get started and play again," the former Liverpool youngster told Fotbollskanalen.se.

"I had my first training session today and it felt good. The coach has confidence, but it has not gone that well for them thus far.

"They are aiming to advance in the standings and they are trying to strengthen the team now and I am a part of that.

"It is all up to me. I will do everything I can to play as well as possible and regain the level I know I can manage.

"The possibilities are big, otherwise I would have not moved here."
