Former Liverpool and Aston Villa goalkeeper David James' future at Bristol City is under threat.
The Daily Mail says James's playing future is in the balance with Bristol City manager Derek McInnes keen to sign a new goalkeeper next month.
The former England No 1, 41, is on £15,000 a week and McInnes is keen to get him off the wage bill. Watford's former England Under 21 goalkeeper Scott Loach and Rangers' out-of-favour Neil Alexander are in City's sights.
