Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore says Everton are up for sale.
Collymore insisted yesterday he was contacted by an official who gave him the Everton FC sale figure of £125m.
He tweeted: "I decided to do debate on EFC in Saturday after Wigan, and 'Why isn't anyone buying one of England's great clubs' The show was prepped and ready Monday, as a 'Ask fans what they think show'.
"I Was CONTACTED by source. Delighted, I asked 12-15 questions tweeted by Evertonians. They were answered in good faith. Went to air with answers given. Wheel not reinvented, just passed on in good faith what I was told."
