Ex-Liverpool striker Cisse delighted with Lazio scoring debut

Former SunderlandLiverpool striker Djibril Cisse was delighted with his Lazio debut in their 2-2 draw against AC Milan.

Cisse powered a header past Christian Abbiati in their 2-2 draw with Milan last night, joining fellow newcomer Miroslav Klose on the scoresheet.

"It was wonderful to score my first Serie A goal at San Siro. Truly it was an emotional moment," smiled Cissè.

"I look forward to getting many more goals for Lazio this season and hope they can help the team to win.

"I'm not thinking about the Capocannoniere title, but you never know in life. After all, I am open to all tactical options, so can play happily as centre-forward or wide."

Cissè took on both roles during the game, as when Klose was substituted, he moved into the centre.

"It was an open match, but I think overall the draw was the right result. It wasn't easy to play in such an attacking fashion against the reigning champions, so it was a point earned, even if we had been 2-0 up.

"I have good sensations that this is going to be a great season for Lazio."
