Former Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy is full of praise for Joe Allen.
Bellamy says Allen and Arsenal ace Aaron Ramsey are an ideal Wales support cast for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
"You can't be a one-man outfit when you have the likes of Ramsey and Allen.
"Bale is backed up by an outstanding player in Ramsey. He's huge and Joe Allen is a real top player. They are two players that I got really close to at the Olympics. I worked with them day to day.
"Sometimes with Wales you don't get that. You train for a couple of days, game, train for a couple of days, game and then you are gone.
"Whereas the Olympics I was with them for a month. I saw their rehab and their attitude. They were exceptional.
"If you bring you bring Ramsey and Allen into that team then they will help the team play well. They will get more passes in."
