Robbie Fowler has labeled players in Thailand as technically more efficient than those in Australia.
The Liverpool great recently joined Thai Premier League club Muang Thong United and immediately said he was extremely happy there.
Fowler spent two seasons in the A-League with North Queensland Fury and Perth Glory before joining Muang Thong and feels that the style of game in Thailand will suit him more than in Australia.
"I really like Muang Thong in terms of their playing style. They play fast and various offensive," said Fowler on the club's official website.
"I prefer this kind of system than when I played for my former club in the A-League, Perth Glory, where they play long ball more.
"Thai players have more technical skills than the Australian (players).
"I am confident that I can settle into the new system here, and my new teammates are all skilful, so I hope I can have success in my career at the Yamaha Stadium."
