Ex-Liverpool star Fowler to stay with Perth Glory
Robbie Fowler will remain with A-League club Perth Glory for a further season the club has confirmed.
The Liverpool legend had been linked with a nib Stadium departure but in fact has just returned to England with his family and has not left the Glory.
The club have released a statement saying that ‘reports of Fowler leaving the club are false and he is expected back for the 2011/12 A-League season’.
The Glory have offered Fowler a new deal and they are giving him until the middle of April to make a decision on whether he will come back to Western Australia for a second season in purple.
Rumours about Fowler’s potential exit began when it became apparent that the Glory were set to sign former Gold Coast United striker Shane Smeltz as their new marquee player.

so from what the article actually says it sounds like he isn't actually confirmed to be back as he hasn't responded to the contract which he is due to do mid april... misleading headline me thinks...
as great as the little was, he wasnt worth the 750 000 last year, and i cant see him getting much better, if he wants to stay in Australia he should join sydney FC, he would work well off a player like Nick Calre, someone who does all the hard work for him and then sets him up to finish, the two of them would be fantastic together.
