Cardiff City have signed a future England No1 in Simon Moore.

That's the belief of former Liverpool, Manchester City and England goalkeeper David James.

"Simon has every chance of playing for England. There is a significant lack of English goalkeepers and that frustrates me," said James of the departing Brentford keeper.

"But look at Joe Hart and the background he has had playing for Shrewsbury, Tranmere, Blackpool and Birmingham on loan before being first choice at Manchester City. There is real hope for keepers like Simon Moore."
