Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy believes Raheem Sterling must do more for Manchester City.

Murphy disagrees with those that claim the former Red is returning to his best under City boss Pep Guardiola.

“Goals and assists don't lie and you have to make things happen," he said after City's win at Stoke.

"Looking at last season's league goals and assists, he wants to be more like Mahrez.

"He's a £50million player, and he can be, because he has the ability."
