Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen is travelling to Australia next month.
Owen has been released by BT Sport, says the Daily Mail, so he can travel to Australia to watch his horse Brown Panther run in the Melbourne Cup. <> The ex-England international will miss his co-commentary stint at Newcastle v Chelsea on November 2.
