The Bluebirds are guaranteed a top-two Championship finish after drawing 0-0 with Charlton Athletic on Monday night and the 33-year old former Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle United striker is thrilled to be heading back to the top flight with his hometown club.
"It's so nice to be able to go share this with the people I love," Bellamy told Sky Sports. "It is just an immense feeling.
"We wanted to try and get the game won and get it over with but credit to Charlton who are also fighting for something.
"It's nice to get over the finishing line.
"We deserve to go up there is no two ways about it.
"Let's just enjoy tonight and see if we can finish it off by being champions."
