Ex-Liverpool keeper Luzi eyes Premiership return

Patrice Luzi wants a return to the Premiership.

The former third-string Liverpool goalkeeper is currently with Rennes, but is eyeing a return to England.

"I worked with top-class players," he told FootAnglais365. "I only played a game against Chelsea, but it remains a great memory for me.

"I would return there if I could, no doubts. Football and everything that is around there pleased me. I think it suits my game.

"I like the atmosphere of their dressing rooms. People are calm and then start to rouse themselves five minutes before the game. It is great to experience.

"I love this league. There are no cheaters, just fighters. It's about honesty. I don't know how to describe it.

"People are real and it makes the job different.

"I trained with Steven Gerrard when I was 21 or 22. He is very strong in front of the goal. He is a very nice person and we got on very well."
