Former Liverpool goalkeeper Chris Kirkland stands by his decision to step away from football.
Kirkland says he has no regrets over his decision to leave Bury in the summer.
The goalkeeper left without playing a game due to personal reasons, and told Goals on Sunday: "I started the season at Bury but we went through a few personal things with the family that were hard and took my mind completely off football.
"I went away, went back in and I was in training and the goals were going in and I wasn't even trying. I thought I needed to get away from it and take a break, so made the decision. I don't regret it at all."
