Nice striker Mario Balotelli has hit back at Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers after the latter jokingly remarked that the Italian was the best player he has managed.

Balotelli player under Rodgers at Liverpool and managed to score just one goal during his disastrous spell.

The former Reds boss speaking was Celtic's Player of the Year awards ceremony when he jokingly made his claim.

However, Balotelli, who is enjoying a productive season in France, soon hit back in the same vein on his Twitter.
