Former Liverpool defender Djimi Traore has been invited to trial with Seattle Sounders according to the Seattle Times.
The 32-year old French-born ex-Mali international is without a club after finishing with Marseille last year and will look to impress with the Sounders ahead of the 2013 MLS season.
Traore spent six-and-a-half years at Anfield, including a loan spell with Lens, before moving to Charlton Athletic in 2006 and since then has played for the likes of Portsmouth, Rennes, Birmingham City and Monaco.
