Former Liverpool defender John Scales has welcomed the imminent signing of Loic Remy.
The QPR striker is expected to complete his move in the coming days.
Scales told the Daily Express: "With Remy, the good thing is he knows the Premier League and he has performed well in the Premier League.
"You haven't got the same settling in period/risk as buying someone from overseas.
"He's a world talent, an exciting player and he will be a big asset for Liverpool.
"It will be a good deal for Liverpool."
