Former Liverpool defender John Scales is sorry they missed out on Alexis Sanchez. The former Barcelona attacker chose Arsenal over moving to the Reds earlier this month.
"I think he wanted to live in London. That's every player's prerogative and he made a decision for what was best for his career," Scales told the Daily Express.
"He would have been a good addition. He's a talented player. I wouldn't have had any issue with him joining but he needs to be comfortable where he is and be able to produce his best form.
"He looks a really good player and Liverpool would probably wish they had taken negotiations further."
