Ex-Liverpool coach Miller joins Russian revolution

Former Liverpool coach Alex Miller has joined the Russian revolution.

Sibir Novosibirsk have confirmed the appointment of Miller, 62, as their new head coach.

Miller spent nine years of his coaching career as an assistant manager at Liverpool under Gerard Houllier and Rafa Benitez.

Before joining Sibir, the Scotsman had been working as a head coach of Swedish side AIK. Sibir are currently 5th in the Russian First Division, which is the second tier of Russian professional football.
