Ex-Liverpool chief Segura, Fernandez return to Barcelona in key roles

Roberto Fernandez has been named new technical chief at Barcelona.

Fernandez played for four years with Barca and takes on the newly created role of 'technical secretary of the first team'.

Josep Segura, meanwhile, takes up a similar position with the youth team.

Segura spent three years as Liverpool's technical director and also had nine years as part of Barca's coaching staff.

The new board have also named Ariedo Braida in charge of international scouting for the Club and Carles Rexach in charge of national scouting
