Yossi Benayoun is believed to be closing in on a move to Spanish side Getafe.
The 33-year old Israeli international midfielder is a free agent after he was released by Chelsea at the end of last season and could make a return to La Liga after playing with Racing Santander between 2002 and 2005.
Benayoun, who has previously spent time with West Ham United, Liverpool and Arsenal, was being linked with North America's MLS but should soon sign with Getafe after reaching an agreement with the central Spanish outfit.
