Former Liverpool boss Roy Evans has concerns over Raheem Sterling's current form.
Evans told talkSPORT he must be allowed to freedom to attack by boss Brendan Rodgers.
"I just think he's lost his way a little bit. I think he needs to go back to being really positive and maybe [Brendan Rodgers should] play him in the one position where he feels really comfortable and get at [opponents].
"He's a great talent and all young players go through that time where they lose a bit of confidence and Raheem has been like that for the last few weeks. He hasn't been at his best but there is plenty more to come from him."
