Rafael Benitez's agent has made it clear that his client wants a job in England, essentially ruling out a move to Italian club Sampdoria.
Reports suggested that the Spaniard, who is being linked with the Tottenham job, was set to take the reins at Sampdoria but his representative, Manuel Garcia Quilon, says the former Liverpool boss only wants to get a managerial role in England.
"I can 100 per cent confirm that there is no chance (of him going to Sampdoria).
"Where is he now? He is in England and it is his intention to stay there and coach in the Premier League.
"Tottenham? I repeat, he wants to remain in England.""There is nothing with Sampdoria," Quilon told tuttomercatoweb.com.
