Ex-Liverpool boss Benitez rejects Schalke approach

Former Liverpool and Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez has rejected an approach from Schalke.

El Confidencial says Schalke made a move for Benitez last week, but was given short shrift by the Spaniard.

Benitez is still living in the Wirral and hopes to resume his career in the Premier League.
