Ex-Liverpool boss Benitez monitored by Tottenham

Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is being linked with Harry Redknapp's job at Tottenham.

The Daily Mail says with a manager’s vacancy highly likely at Tottenham next season, it is intriguing that of all people, Darren Eales — director of football administration at White Hart Lane — is on the e-mailing list for the latest news from job-seeking Spanish boss Benitez.

The Spaniard still has a home on Merseyside.
