"I know Fernando well, I know he has a strong mentality, he is competitive. I saw him against Stoke early in the season when I was in the stadium and I was happy with him; he was sharp, his movement was good, and I think he is coming back to the level he had before.
"I think what is important for Fernando will be someone like Juan Mata. They will be able to talk Spanish, for example, and they can help each other on and off. For Chelsea they are an attacking team with lots of possession and someone like Mata can make a difference in the final third. For a striker like Fernando it is important to have someone like that."
