Ex-Liverpool, Bolton, Blackburn striker Diouf keen to trade Doncaster for Leeds

El Hadji Diouf says he is keen to put an old spat between he and Neil Warnock behind him and join Leeds United.

The Senegalese striker is set to depart relegated Doncaster Rovers in the summer and is open to a mooted move to Elland Road despite then-QPR boss Warnock labeling him a 'sewer rat' when he abused Jamie Mackie after he broke his leg in a FA Cup clash with Diouf's old club Blackburn Rovers last January.

"I know people have talked about the incident between me and Neil Warnock but it is in the past and is not an issue," Diouf told Sky Sports News.

"I have the utmost respect for Neil Warnock and I'd be delighted to help Leeds gain promotion to the Premier League."
