Mile Sterjovski is on his way to China to undergo a medical with Chinese Super League club Dalian Aerbin.
The 32-year old will have the final two months of his contract with Perth Glory cut short by the club, paving the way for him to sign with Dalian after just over two-and-a-half-years in Western Australia.
Glory head coach Ian Ferguson said it was a brilliant offer for the former Lille, FC Basel and Derby County man with the club deciding not to stand in his way.
"Perth Glory has never stood in the way of players wanting to play overseas and it's a blow to lose Mile at this stage of the season.
"But we are not the only A-League club in this situation, and the contracts players are been offered in Asia is something we can't match at the moment.
"We wish Mile the very best and respect his wishes.""Mile has received an offer which he couldn't refuse," Ferguson said.
