Former Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri is delighted to be taking charge of Nantes.
Ranieri also enjoyed a dig at former France coach Raymond Domenech for criticising his imminent appointment.
He told TMW Radio: "At Nantes? Still not, until there are signatures, we can not give the official announcement. I am fine, we have to wait.
"Domenech's words? I do a job that I love, with passion and seriousness: they can say what they want, so if Domenech says something, he has always been a bizarre character ... (laughs).
"Nantes has a big reputation. Youthful, there are interesting players.
"There is a chance to do a good job, it will be a beautiful championship, we will try to make a good placing. I'm very excited."
