Former Lazio star Stefano Fiore rates Felipe Anderson the best player in Serie A.

Anderson has helped inspire Lazio into the top three this season and his form has attracted comparisons with Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fiore opined: "The comparison with Cristiano Ronaldo at the moment is complicated, perhaps irrelevant, but to say that he is like him, you can certainly say that.

"Technically he is excellent, that is out of discussion, perhaps he has less power, for now. CR7 is more complete, he is also better in the air.

"But Felipe Anderson seems to me the best player in the league."

He added: "He is halfway between Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, as a type of player."
