Former Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli says Diego Simeone should be considered.

Should Max Allegri leave Juve, Cobolli Gigli believes Atletico Madrid coach Simeone would be the ideal replacement.

"Allegri is bringing success in every way but if he does leave, I'd look at Diego Pablo Simeone," he said.

"Not Maurizio Sarri, it would be like Luigi Delneri, I did not want him at the helm of Juventus."

Simeone has also been linked with a return to Inter Milan this season.
