Former Juventus chief Nello de Nicola feels his old club should go for PSG striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The Argentine is a January target for Barcelona, as he prepares to leave PSG in 2016.

However, De Nicola says Juve should move for Lavezzi, who he sees as the ideal replacement for the departed Carlos Tevez, now of Boca Juniors.

"Lavezzi certainly can be the man who can replace Tevez, although he has different characteristics, but he certainly is a player that in his final phase of action is of great importance, he is a great finisher.

"He can help Juve to reach positions in the table that are more befitting," De Nicola told Sportitalia.
