Former France international Lilian Thuram feels Thierry Henry still has plenty to offer on a football pitch.
Some say the New York Red Bulls striker is past it because he is nowhere near as quick as he used to be but ex-Monaco, Parma, Juventus and Barcelona centre-half Thuram says he makes up for that lack of pace with brilliant technical ability.
"He's not as quick, that's understandable because he's 36," Thuram told ESPN FC.
"But, in his reading of the game, he understands quicker than everyone else. You see that, technically, he stands above the other players. He has still got it."
The former Arsenal and Barcelona striker is entering the final year of his MLS contract but it is widely believed that he will play on past 2014.
