Former Italy Under-21 boss Pierluigi Casiraghi is stunned by the news of Piermario Morosini's sudden death.
The Udinese player collapsed and died in Saturday's Pescara-LivornoSerie B game at the age of 25.
"Every Coach would want a player like Piermario," said Casiraghi. "I had him over two years in the Nazionale and he came with us to the European Championship in Sweden, playing the semi-final.
"He was a calm and polite lad. At 20 he was already mature for his age, partly because of everything he had been through.
"I will always remember his smile."
