Ex-Inter, PSV, Copenhagen keeper Coe joins Melbourne Victory

Melbourne Victory have announced the signing of goalkeeper Nathan Coe.

The 28-year old has signed a three-year deal with the Victory after departing Danish club SonderjyskE and new coach Ange Postecoglou is thrilled to bring the three-time Socceroos to Melbourne.

"We are delighted to welcome Nathan to Melbourne Victory," Postecoglou said.

"I coached Nathan in the early stages of his career at various national team levels and he's not only a committed footballer, but he is also a great character to have in the change room.

"Nathan has been part of some massive clubs throughout his career to date and his experience in Europe, as well as with the Socceroos, will be invaluable - both on and off the pitch."

Coe kicked off his career at Inter Milan in 2002 but after failing to make a first team appearance, departed for Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven where he was resigned to 55 reserves matches.

The Brisbane-born gloveman then moved on to FC Copenhagen where he was sent on loan to Swedish club Orgryte IS among his seven senior shifts with the Danish club before moving to Randers and onto SonderjyskE.
