Former Bradford City star Benito Carbone has spoken of his time spent with Adriano.

The former Inter Milan star appears set to retire from the game after returning to Brazil almost two years ago.

Carbone told TMW: "Really incredible and I am very disappointed. I had him as a teammate in Parma and he was a force of nature: devastating, not stopping for anyone. Watching him play was a spectacle, so much so that Inter could not wait any longer and took him in January 2004.

"Again, in the days when we were teammates he was the strongest player I ever saw in training. Which he then repeated the same things in games."
