Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is surprised by AC Milan's mega spending this summer.

The summer has been dominated by Inter's cousins Milan, who after their Chinese takeover have splashed €211m and counting on the market.

“Milan are moving very well and to be honest I didn't expect that," said Moratti.

“I don't know some of the players they signed, while they did well to resolve the Gianluigi Donnarumma issue and have a good Coach in Vincenzo Montella.

“Leonardo Bonucci used to be with Inter, so now seeing him play for Juventus or Milan makes no difference. Juve always seem to make very wise signings and we'll have to see if they can overcome the blow of that Champions League Final defeat."
