Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti feels the sale of Mateo Kovacic to Real Madrid is good business.
Kovacic was sold to Real Madrid this week for €35 million.
“I have nothing more to do with Inter's finances and do not look at the Financial Fair Play, but it seems like a good deal," Moratti told Sport Mediaset.
“I believe it was a wise move. After all, the player had a lot more to prove. He was my final big signing and we paid circa €14m for him.
“I am neither happy nor sad to see Kovacic go, but I repeat, I think it was a good move.
“What do I make of the new Inter squad? We haven't seen anything yet, so let's wait and see."
