Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has congratulated Juventus for signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

Juve splashed out €112m to sign the Real Madrid star.

“If I were still President maybe I'd have thought about it too…" Moratti told Rtv San Marino.

“Juve did things right, I like the surprise this represented for the fans, a real gift.

“I saw the same situation that I experienced with [Brazilian] Ronaldo, congratulations to them because they did a beautiful thing."
