Former Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti expects an announcement soon over potential Chinese investment.

The Suning Group are on the verge of taking over 20 per cent of the club.

“There may be some news soon," said Moratti.

“At the moment I'll still be inside. A return as President? I can rule that out.

“Have I been disappointed with Thohir? No, far from it. On a human level, Thohir has been very kind to me and there is a good relationship between us.

“In football though it's hard, and in Italy it's a struggle to grow. I think it's the same for all the big teams, we need to give him time."
