Former Inter Milan midfielder Gary Medel admits his move to Besiktas has been emotional.

The Chilean international will continue his career in Turkey, after three seasons with the Nerazzurri.

“Leaving Inter is not easy for me," Medel posted on his official Twitter page.

“I want to thank everyone who has been a part of these wonderful three years: my teammates of many battles, the Coaches, medics, physiotherapists, workers, chefs and everyone who works for this wonderful club.

“Also the directors who were always close to me. And above all the fans who showed me so much affection.

“Good luck for the things to come, I will always follow you. A hug, and Forza Inter!"
