Ex-Inter Milan chief Leonardo slams Suning after Sassuolo humiliation

Former Inter Milan chief Leonardo has hit out at the club's management structure.

Inter are again reeling after a humiliating defeat to Sassuolo under interim coach Stefano Vecchia.

Leonardo blames the club's Chinese owners for the problems, insisting: "These new foreign investors tend to underestimate football. They feel very good at corporate management, but football is not just any industry.

"Even before you buy clubs like Inter, City, Chelsea, you have to come with a package. At PSG, I had a direct confrontation with the owner.

"Today there are 5-6 people and people do not understand who it is that the current manager at Inter needs to speak to, there is a vacuum of power: an internal procedure is needed to understand what is happening in everyday life and avoid problems, without trust there are problems.

"Walter Sabatini will be head of the entire Suning sports facility, but the factory is at Pinetina."
