Former AC Milan and Inter star Christian Vieri has formally announced his retirement.
The 36-year-old ex-Juventus, Fiorentina and Atletico Madrid striker was speaking as he begun his legal battle against Inter and Telecom Italia.
Vieri alleges Inter and Telecom spied on him during his time with the Nerazzurri in 2005 and is asking for 21m in damages.
"I no longer have the desire to play and I am not even tempted to move abroad," Vieri said at Milan's Palace of Justice.
He is now pursuing a professional poker career.
