Richard Garcia admits he may be forced to look elsewhere to continue his football career.
The 30-year old forward was released by Championship club Hull City at the end of last season and is now looking for a new challenge in a bid to kickstart his career which has been blighted by injuries in recent years.
"After 15 years there I think it's time for a new challenge. Where I will go I really don't know at this stage.
"Australia might be a possibility but I haven't talked to anybody or heard anything yet.
"I feel I'm at my peak as a player and have a fair bit to offer a club and also my country.
"I definitely want to force my way back into the Socceroos and help us qualify for the next World Cup in Brazil.""I'm widening the search for a club well beyond the UK," said Garcia who is also targeting a spot in the Australia squad for 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
