Former Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen is ready to return to management - and his next port of call could be Australia!
The great Finn has stepped away from football since leaving Easter Road at the end of last season. However, sources close to the Bolton Wanderers hero have told tribalfootball.com that Paatelainen is ready to return to management.
Paatelainen is understood to have received interest from both sides of the border, including from one Championship club in England.
However, he is keen to move to Australia and is eyeing the North Queensland Fury job vacated by nine-in-a-row Rangers legend Ian Ferguson.
Fergie has since left the Fury to join his ex-Gers teammate Dave Mitchell at Perth Glory, which are celebrating this week signing Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler..
Fury, meanwhile, are fielding candidates for the top coaching job and Paatelainen is keen.
