Ian Black says he would be open to the possibility of moving to Rangers if the club are allowed to sign players.
The 27-year old midfielder departed Heart of Midlothian at the end of the recently-completed season and is on the hunt for a new club with 'Gers reportedly showing interest.
Black admits it would be great to play for the Glasgow giants but says he is unsure of what is happening with their current transfer embargo imposed for their financial and administration situation.
"But if they are and they're keen, I'd love to sit down and listen to what they have to say. I'm still waiting to hear if anyone is wanting my signature. I've not had any interest yet.
"It's just a waiting game but hopefully somebody will offer me something.
"I'd like to play in England, but staying in Scotland is still an option. I would not rule anything out.
"I would rather get things sorted out quickly. I've got a family, so I would rather know where we are going to be living.""It's flattering to be linked with Rangers. I don't know what's happening and if they're allowed to sign players again or not," he admitted.
