Released Fulham wing-back John Arne Riise could be on the move to Spain.
The former Liverpool and AS Roma defender is currently a free agent and keen to play on this season.
Rayo Vallecano have made a move for Riise, 33, and hope to convince him about playing in Spain.
The Norwegian also has offers on the table from Championship clubs and France.
Riise played 25 games for Fulham in last season's relegation campaign.
