Ex-Fulham, Tottenham keeper Keller hoping to continue Seattle Sounders ride

Kasey Keller does not want Wednesday night's Conference semi-final against Real Salt Lake to be his final competitive match.

Keller's Seattle Sounders lost 3-0 at Rio Tinto Stadium in the first leg and now face a knockout-style match at CenturyLink Field in front of home fans this week.

But Keller, who has announced his retirement from the game, is hoping the rollercoaster can continue via a big win from the Sounders. If it doesn't though, he knows he will just have to accept it.

"If that's the way it works out then that's the way it works out," he said. "I just want to go and win the game on Wednesday and hopefully we win by a big-enough margin.

"That's all part of team play. You don't have that choice. You go out and play the best you can for the team and hope it's enough."
