Carlos Bocanegra cannot wait to get his Chivas USA career started after making his return to MLS.
The former USA captain joined the Goats recently after leaving Scottish club Rangers, via a loan with Spain's Racing Santander, but his International Transfer Certificate has not yet been received.
As of Monday, Bocanegra is still not eligible to play for Chivas, who host Toronto FC on Wednesday, but he is excited about getting back to action in his homeland after a nine-and-a-half-year spell in Europe with the likes of Fulham, Rennes and Saint-Etienne.
"I expect to come in and do my job," Bocanegra told MLSsoccer.com.
"I want to help this team move forward, put a better product on the field and win some games. That's the most important thing.
"I need to get some games under my belt so I can catch up to the group."
