Former Fulham boss Kit Symons is backing Emerson Hyndman to make a big impact with Bournemouth.
Dallas-born Hyndman played under Symons in the Craven Cottage outfit's under-18 and under-21 teams before making his senior debut in August 2014, with Symons assuming the hot seat just a month later.
Symons told the Daily Echo: "When I took over, Fulham were rock-bottom so it was a real scrap that season. Emerson wasn't really suited to Championship football and that scrap. That's not his game.
"He is an excellent footballer with a really good football brain and a great appreciation of time and space on the pitch. He is an excellent technician who sees angles and passes.
"I always thought he was more suited to Premier League football than the Championship because of the style of play.
"In my opinion, he will suit Eddie Howe and the Bournemouth style very well. I think people within the game appreciate what an intelligent and good footballer he is, so I'm not at all surprised he has moved to a Premier League club.
"If you could pick a team for him to go to, you would say Bournemouth would be the ideal one. I think it's a good move for him and I think he will be a good player for the club."
