Ex-Fulham boss Coleman admits difficult taking Wales job

Former Fulham boss Chris Coleman admits it will be difficult succeeding Gary Speed as Wales coach.

The former Fulham manager, who quit as manager of Greek side Larissa last week, was close friends with Speed.

He said: "I'll meet with the FAW to discuss the situation. If all goes well I will be unveiled as the new manager but there is work still to be done.

"I'll have mixed emotions. Ideally Gary Speed would still be sitting here doing a great job for our country."
